In The Netherlands we use round cables for the 230V electricity in our house, however I found that in Poland people seem to use flat cables. I guess the reason is that in NL the cables need to be (by law) in a separate PVC pipe (which is round), whereas in Poland the cables supposedly can just be put inside the plaster-work (and therefore benefit from being flat).
However, the problem I’m running into is that all the plugs I can find (like Wtyczka inwerter fazy PCE 400 V 32 A (for 400V) or Wtyczka przenośna PCE z uziemieniem 16 A 250 V niebieska or even electric distribution boxes have cutouts for round cables. How is this usually remedied? just squish in the cable and use some sort of glue to make it close, or is there a better way?
